Ha Ha! Mark!

You should have seen the look of horror on her face when Doc said he was admiting her. She had plans on returning some of the duplicate gifts we received at our shower on Sunday and exchanging for things we did not receive.

I have been telling her to take it easy for the past month, but she is stubborn like me.

A few years ago, my wife's PMS was so bad, two weeks out of each month were a living hell for the both of us. It turned out she had some endometriosis. She got that cleaned up and she's fine now, she just craves chocolate.

Jamocia Almond Fudge for Barbie. She called me before I went back to the hospital last night almost in tears begging me to stop at Baskin Robbins for her.

PMS is the evil that lurks within. I am actually married to two completely different women. One week of the month is a living hell.

Crap hobbit, mine was the Spawn of Satan two full weeks of every month. I can't believe I stayed married to her for nine years.

SHE used her 'severe' PMS as an excuse to make everyone's life around her living hell.
I had to deal with physical as well as emotional abuse from HER for many years.

And that's all I'm saying on this subject.

SS, I obviously know nothing of your past relationship, so I won't say anything about it. So, don't take anything I'm about to say to be directed toward you.

Bingo, Twiggy. PMS can be a horrible experience for a woman. Its so frustrating to know that you're being a b!tch, but seriously, there's a few hours where I absolutly can't control it. I feel so guilty while its happening, but no matter what I do I can't control the situation. The guilt during and afterwords is what's most painful for me, knowing that I've hurt those who I really care about.

Any woman who's experienced PMS like this will understand. I'm sure there'll be plenty of guys chiming in otherwise.

i can't really say much about this subject..but...

my head turns about 360 degrees a week before...I think I may spit peas soup too...

Really, I "lock" myself in my office, and "THEY" know not to bother me.

I saw on tv that depo can cause bone loss, so you should take calcium with it.

Smiley Girl, you left out embarrassing. It can be embarrassing when you PMS and blow up over a small thing, then you come down from that PMS high and feel stupid. You really don't want to apologize, because there may have been a reason for the blow up, but maybe it shouldn't have been made out to be so big.

If your pill isn't taking care of your pms talk to your Dr. It should help because it regulates your hormones, if it's not helping maybe it's not PMS.

Twig, yep and it also makes the periods alot easier, less cramps etc. I've had five different brands of pills so far (every stinking one of them, except the last caused other problems for me).

not to put a big downer on the pill, but it can also be very dangerous. it put me in the hospital for 8 days with blood clots.

Yeah, definately have to watch out with it.
Funny thing though, I told my DO I wanted to stop taking it and get an IUD. He insisted I stay on for the health benefits! He says it cuts your chances of cancer so much it's important to stay on it. I imagine if you're getting blood clots it's a different story.
